The Formation of HDF ( High Density Fiberboard)
HDF industrial plywood is made up of 80% – 85% natural wood. Take advantage of leftover wood chips, twigs, tree tops and short-term regenerated woods as the main materials, constituting the core of slabs. After being boiled, the wood pulp will be dried at a temperature of 1000oC – 2000oC to treat all the plastic and water. HDF will usually be pressed under pressure of 850 – 870 kg/cm2 to shape HDF wood panels with dimensions of 2000mm x 2400mm, thickness of 6mm – 24mm or other sizes according to usage needs. The surface-treated HDF wood planks are sent to the cutting line to the predetermined dimensions, and then coated with a layer of wood grain and surface coating.

Special characteristics of High Density Fiberboard
To compare with other types of plywood, HDF laminate has many more outstanding features. Therefore, this type of board is also preferred for many projects from medium to high traffic density, very high.

First: The surface of high-quality plywood is very smooth, not rough and without wood chips. Wood panels have a solid texture, without the tiny voids like in MDF.
Second: HDF will usually be pressed under pressure of 850 – 870 kg/cm2 to shape HDF wood panels with very good bearing capacity, not deformed or broken when subjected to strong impacts.
Third: The wood pulp molecules are closely linked together, so the ability to expand is very low, ensuring durability and limiting damage when encountering water, or high temperature.
Fourth: Super dense HDF wood board has very good sound insulation and noise resistance.
Fifth: Super dense wood core helps HDF wood boards have good termite resistance, not damaged by insects.
Sixth: Processed to meet E1 – E2 health and safety standards, industrial plywood is safe for health, does not cause allergies or poisoning to humans.
